Plazync: software for parking lots and garages

Plazync is cloud software for parking lots and garages in Peru, built by Devkora. It records each vehicle’s entry and exit by licence plate, calculates the rate, manages the cash register by shift and brings together reports from every branch.

The problem

Many independent parking lots still log vehicles in a notebook or a ticket book. That makes it hard to charge the same rate every time, balance the till at the end of a shift or know how many spaces are free. Plazync replaces that notebook with the full journey: entry, space, exit, payment and cash register.

What it does

  • Plate-based entry and exit

Tickets numbered per branch, plate search across every site and a history of stays. Corrections, voids and courtesy exits require a reason and permission.

  • Occupancy map

Zones and spaces per branch, with capacity alerts per vehicle type.

  • Configurable rates

Hourly, per fraction, flat or daily, with a grace period, a daily cap and a simulator to test them before applying them.

  • PDF ticket with QR code

A printable ticket for the driver. It does not replace an electronic tax receipt.

  • Shift cash management

Opening float, blind cash count at closing and a review of discrepancies. It records the payment method (cash, Yape, Plin, card, bank transfer or voucher); it does not take payments online.

  • Monthly passes

Create, renew and cancel passes, with a notice seven days before they expire.

  • Per-branch reports

Revenue, occupancy and comparison between sites, with Excel and PDF export.

  • Users and permissions

Administrator, branch administrator, cashier and operator, with per-branch roles and an audit log.

How it is built

  • Multi-tenant: each parking business’s data is isolated with PostgreSQL Row Level Security, on top of the application’s own checks.
  • Java 25 and Spring Boot 4 back end, organised in domain modules (operations, cash, pricing, reports and identity), with Flyway migrations and an OpenAPI-documented API.
  • Angular 22 front end with Angular Material, types generated from the API, end-to-end tests with Playwright and accessibility checks with axe-core.
  • Plans based on the number of sites and spaces, with sign-up and email verification.
  • Docker containers on our own server.

Status and authorship

Plazync is Devkora’s own product. It is in development: it has no customers in production yet and does not issue electronic tax receipts. The demo uses simulated data.
